Dental Insurance
Our office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients. Dental insurance is meant to be a supplement, and rarely covers the full cost of treatment. Since it would be impossible for us to be familiar with the details of every insurance plan, we ask that you be aware of the terms of your particular dental insurance policy to avoid disappointment. The deductible and any estimated out-of-pocket ( co-pay) portion not covered by insurance is due at the time of service. Our office will accept assignment of benefits as cash for your convenience.
WHEN TREATMENT EXCEEDS $500 - Our office understands it may be necessary to make financial arrangements on extensive treatment. We offer the following financial policy so that you can have the opportunity to decide which payment option best suits your needs:
CASH DISCOUNTS - A 10% discount is offered on treatment exceeding $500, if the entire treatment fee is paid at the time of scheduling - and the patient accepts assignment of benefits from the insurance company.
A 5% discount is offered if the payment is by credit card or the patient requires the office to accept assignment of benefits from the insurance company.
A 0% discount is offered if the Estimated Co-Pay is paid at the time of scheduling and the patient requires that the office accepts assignment of benefits from the insurance company.
Credit Card Payment
Our office accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and also the Carecredit card for those desiring a separate line of credit for dental services. If you wish to charge your balance on a monthly basis, we can charge your credit card each month for up to six months. A 30% down payment is required.
Automatic Payment Program
30% down payment is required. Your remaining balance may be paid monthly for up to six months. Payment will be made to our office through a funds transfer program from your checking or savings account. You will simply choose a day of the month convenient for your budget.
Outside Dental Financing
You can finance your dental treatment through one of the financing companies utilized by our office. Most of the financing companies offer no down payment with extended payment terms of up to 12 months. Our current companies are: 1) Care Credit and 2) Dental Fee Plan.
Lay-A-Way Program
Some treatment, such as cosmetic care does not require immediate attention. When down payment funds are not available, we offer a lay-a-way program. You decide the amount of monthly payment you would like to have placed in your lay-a-way account. Each month this payment is automatically deposited through a funds transfer program. When the account is 50% funded, treatment will begin. If unforeseen circumstances should arise, and you choose not to proceed with treatment, your balance will be refunded.
